Honored with numerous grants and fellowships from such institutions as the National Endowment for the Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Kimberly Burleigh has shown her work in over 100 exhibitions throughout the United States and abroad. Solo and group exhibitions include the Carnegie Mellon University Miller Gallery (Pittsburgh); Fine Arts Work Center Gallery (Provincetown, MA), The Clocktower Museum (London), Galerie Toner (Sens en Bourgogne, France), The Print Club (Philadelphia), Galerie 1900-2000 (Paris), Contemporary Art Center (Cincinnati), Feature (Chicago), Pittsburgh Plan for Art, and the New York City locations of Franklin Furnace Archives, Visual Arts Museum, Greathouse, and the Alternative Museum. Burleigh's art resides in the permanent collections of the Biblioteque Nationale de France, the School of the Art Institute (Chicago), the Progressive Corporation (Cleveland), and The Robert J. Shiffler Collection and Archive (Greenville, OH). She taught art at several US colleges and universities prior to her current position as Director of Graduate Studies in Fine Arts and Professor at the University of Cincinnati.
