Charles Woodman is an assistant professor of Electronic Art in the School of Art, DAAP. He has been a member of the UC faculty since 1999. He teaches courses in Video Production and Electronic Art. Recent exhibitions include: "Stacked", Weston Art Gallery; "Palimpsest", Jarson-Kaplan Theatre; "Video Savant", V.O.L.K.; "I Morti", Art Resources Transfer Gallery, NY; "Baltimore Overpass" Artists Television Access, San Francisco. Honors and awards include: Directors Citation, Black Maria Film and Video Festival; Artist in Residence, Experimental Television Center; Faculty Development Grant; Faculty Research Grant. He was Art Director for "Rising Waters, Global Warming and the Fate of the Pacific Islands," a documentary screened nationally on PBS.
