ADSL
The Antwerp Design Seminars and Lectures are an international event taking
place each year at the Department of Design Sciences. Its aim is to stimulate
cross boundary thinking in design, and to familiarize students with an interdisciplinary
approach to design problems. The Antwerp Design Seminars and Lectures intend
to act as a forum for faculty and student exchange on an international level.
DAAP
The activities of the Center for Design Research and Innovation are supported within the College of DAAP with a combination of dedicated and shared facilities. Three distinct areas and spaces within the college provide three very different capabilities for research and design investigation. At the hub of these three research spaces, supporting both the college and the CDRI is a centrally managed server facility.
UNIVERSITY
The Center for Design, Research and Innovation has just received a $1,886,563 two-year grant, in partnership with TechSolve, Inc., a Bond Hill manufacturing solutions organization, to help select local companies avoid the common pitfalls of new-product development. The grant is from the Ohio Department of Development's Third Frontier Project.
