Charles McMicken Society
Donors with annual giving of $1,000 or more or cumulative giving over $100,000 become honored members of the Charles McMicken Society. As a McMicken member, you will receive privileges.
Privileges
UC offers all Charles McMicken Society donors special parking privileges on campus, access to University libraries, and UC Bookstore discounts.
McMicken Society donors have unique access to the University President and UC leaders, both on campus and through special events held across the country during the year. Donors have opportunities to meet and build relationships with other donors, based upon UC and personal interests. UC will periodically offer travel and programming exclusively to Charles McMicken Society donors.
Levels of Giving
The Charles McMicken Society recognizes individuals or couples who give $1,000 or more annually to any part of the University (through single or multiple gifts) and individuals or couples with certain levels of cumulative giving.
Annual Giving
Three donor levels recognize the legacy of generous commitment started in 1858 by Charles McMicken:
- Bronze McMicken
$1,000 - $2,499
- Silver McMicken
$2,500 - $4,999
- Gold McMicken
$5,000 - $9,999
- Founder
$10,000+
Matching gift dollars can be used to achieve Charles McMicken Society status. Your total support (personal gift + matching gift) determines your recognition level in the McMicken Society.
Cumulative Giving
Individuals or couples whose cumulative giving exceeds $100,000 are honored by the McMicken Society for their lifetime commitment.

Recognition
Charles McMicken Society donors are publicly recognized each year in the widely distributed University of Cincinnati Honor Roll of Donors. As appropriate, contributions are publicized in gift-related press releases in other UC publications and general media.
Circle of Honor Benefactor, Life Benefactor and Life Founder donors are honored with public induction into the Society. Once inducted, recognition for Life Benefactors and Life Founders are afforded for their lifetimes. Circle of Honor Benefactors are recognized by UC in perpetuity.
Herman Schneider Legacy Society
The Herman Schneider Legacy Society recognizes donors who provide support through a planned gift which includes bequests, trust provisions, and a wide array of other possibilities.
