Ann Firestone has been an adjunct professor in DAAP since 1978 in the Fashion Design Program. She has also worked in theatre, primarily with Cincinnati Playhouse, but also with the Cincinnati Ballet and the College Conservatory of Music, as well as Actors Theatre of Louisville and the Indiana Repertory Company. She was a production patternmaker with the Leslie Faye Company, and co-owned a custom bridal dressmaking business. Professor Firestone currently designs and makes bridal and formal wear for private clients and holds a medical license for Massage Therapy. Her focus is on the students, helping them with not only the design aspect of their projects, but the technical execution.
