Jose M Kozan is a research associate and adjunct professor in the School of Architecture and Interior Design. He practiced architecture in Brazil for sixteen years and came to the University of Cincinnati in 2003, where he has been implementing the design, development and production technology at CERHAS. He was the director for the "Virtual White Water Shaker Village," project manager of the NEH funded "Earthworks Traveling Exhibit," and director of video and animation of the "Troy on the Internet" website. His research interests focus on the use of historical imagery as data sources for the recreation of partially or completely vanished structures and landscapes. He is currently coordinating the development of the digital model of the West Campus of the University of Cincinnati. Kozan teaches architecture studios, independent studies on Brazilian architecture, and courses on theoretical and practical topics related to digital reconstruction and online visualization of historical sites.
