Recently, Andre Murnieks completed a Masters of Fine Arts from the Department of Industrial, Interior, and Visual Communication Design at The Ohio State University. His research is concentrated on distance communication and collaboration using mediating technologies. In addition to coursework and research, he has been appointed as a graduate teaching associate for an undergraduate course in design.
Though graphic design and production are a large part of Andre's ongoing skill set, new interests and experiences include project research and development, design strategy, information architecture and multi-user, computer mediated environments and temporal-based media.
In addition to his visiting teaching appointment at the University of Cincinnati, he operates his own design consultancy to either manage or participate on independent projects. The roles vary depending on the project. Some projects required just consulting, design or production, while others are turnkey solutions.
