Emeka C. Moneme was appointed by Mayor Adrian M. Fenty as Director of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) in January 2007.

Mr. Moneme holds a B.S. degree in Aeronautics from Miami University (1995) and a Masters of Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati (2000). He and his wife, Celeste, have four children and reside in Ward 4.
