Summer Urban Design Studio in Italy

A 5 credit two week summer studio in Italy will be offered by the SOP. The studio will be located in Alghero, Sardinia, Italy and is conducted as a part of a summer school offered by the University of Sassari at Alghero. UC Planning and Architecture students are integrated with Italian students in design teams which address particular urban problems for municipalities throughout the island. UC students are housed at local hotels or retreat centers with their Italian student team mates. Studio work is enriched with daily lectures from visiting faculty from around Europe.
