Peace Corps Master's International Program
Chris Kline (Romania, 2006-2008)
Chris Kline holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism, with a background in commercial recreation and tourism and significant work in environmental science. He has completed an internship with the USDA Forest Service in Washington, D.C. He is hoping to began Peace Corps service in June 2006.
Rod Williams (Honduras, 2004-2006)
Rod Williams entered the Master's International Program in the fall of 2002. He served as a Community Development Volunteer in the municipality of Santa Fe, a Garifana town on the northern coast of Honduras, from 2004 to 2006. He worked largely with micro-enterprises and projects to strengthen community groups. Rod (and his wife Devona, who served as a health volunteer) kept a weblog.
Adam Rockel (FYR Macedonia, 2004-2006)
Adam Rockel entered the Master's International Program in the fall of 2003. He is currently serving in the FYR Macedonia as an Environmental Education and Management Volunteer with Villa Zora, the first environmental NGO in Macedonia, in the municipality of Veles in the middle of the country approximately 40 miles from the capital Skopje. There he works on a number of environmental and planning related issues, in particular on the LEAP, or Local Environmental Action Plan. He has been serving since September 2004.
Adam Sickmiller (FYR Macedonia, 2004-2006)
Adam Sickmiller entered the Master's International Program in the fall of 2003. He is currently serving in the FYR Macedonia as a Community Development Volunteer with an Albanian NGO for Disabled Persons in Skopje. He has been serving since September 2004.

Margaret Ambrosino (Physical Planning, 2005-2007)
Margaret Ambrosino entered the Master of Community Planning in the winter of 2006 after serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mauritania from August 2003 to September 2005. There she served as a Small Enterprise Development volunteer. She is completing a physical planning specialization and currently works with the Uptown Consortium.
Frances (Frindee) Daly (International Development Planning, 2005-2007)
Frances Daly holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and has a minor in Biology. She entered the Master of Community Planning in the fall of 2005 after serving as a Peace Corps Community Development Volunteer in Western Samoa, from June 2001 to August 2003. There she developed a culturally appropriate Strategic Planning and Project Design and Management curriculum for the Peace Corps Program and implemented it with local community organizations. She is completing a dual specialization in International Development and Environmental Planning and currently works with Santa Maria Community Services and Price Hill Will. Read an interview.
Kevin McMahan (Environmental Planning, 2005-2007)
Kevin McMahan entered the Master of Community Planning in the fall of 2005 after serving as a Peace Corps Environmental Volunteer in Kaniv, Central Ukraine, from March 2003 to April 2005. There he served as an environmental facilitator at the Kaniv Station for Young Tourists, an after-school, extra-curriculular, youth activity center. He is completing an environmental specialization and currently works with SmartMoney Community Services. Read an interview.
Bradley Parrish (Physical Planning, 2005-2007)
Bradley Parrish holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. He entered the Master of Community Planning in the fall of 2005 after serving as a Peace Corps Education Volunteer in Kazakhstan, from December 2002 to December 2004. There he taught ecology (in Russian and English/Kazakh) to grade school students. He also taught English and led English clubs and worked with ecology clubs. He is completing the Physical Planning specialization and currently works with KnowledgeWorks. Read an interview.
Matthew Wencel (Environmental Planning, 2005-2007)
Matthew Wencel holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. He entered the Master of Community Planning in the fall of 2005 after serving as a Peace Corps Environmental Volunteer in Popovo, Bulgaria, from June 2002 to July 2004. There he served as a municipal environmental specialist, working with needs assessment, project design and management, grant writing, budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation. He is completing the Environmental specialization and currently works with ECO (Environmental Community Organization). Read an interview.
Rebekah Kranch (International & Economic Development Planning, 2004-2006)
Rebekah Kranch entered the Master of Community Planning in the fall of 2004 after serving as a Peace Corps Primary Education Volunteer in Razlog, Bulgaria, from June 2001 to June 2003. There she worked with the Primary School and with the Municipality of Razlog on a variety of projects dealing with municipal development, the environment, and HIV/AIDS education. She also taught Roma (Gypsy) children in their after-school program. She is completing the International and Economic Development specializations. During 2004-05, she worked with SmartMoney, a non-profit organization in Over-the-Rhine, on their new housing program in cooperation with PNC Bank. During 2005 she is worked with the Home Ownership Center. In 2006, she began working with the Center for Great Neighborhoods in Covington, Kentucky. She will be working on special projects such as the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area grant applications to HUD. Read an interview.
