This is a study of the Ohio River Corridor, starting from Maysville, Kentucky to Madison, Indiana. We are using the framework of Ecology - that is, the interdependency of various natural systems, spiritual and cultural values, and mans-made systems that affect them. Preservation and enhancement of the ecological system of the river will be the strategic starting point for proposals in recreation, economic and community development. This project has received generous funding from the Metropolitan Growth Alliance and will represent a significant source of research for them in their continuing efforts at planning for the future of the River Corridor.
