Residency Program with the Skolska 28 Gallery Prague, Czech Republic (Wolfstein Travel Fellowships)

The School of Art in partnership with the Skolska 28 Gallery Residency Program for 2009 in Praha (Prague), Czech Republic offers a one month (August) residency which can be applied for through the Wolfstein Travel Awards. The Skolska 28 Residency is a one-month residency for the month of August. The residency fee for one month is 500 Euros (currently $640 US). Apply by submitting the same information requested by the residency to the Awards Committee for pre-selection (see below). The Fine Arts Awards Committee will review the applications and recommend no more than three finalists to the Skolska 28 Gallery Residency.

Your application will be due to the SOA office on January 23, 2008. The chosen finalists must be able to e-mail their entire application to the residency coordinator, Dana Recmanova, dana@skolska28.cz. You may want to back up your e-mail application with a non-returnable mailed version.
There is no standard application form, but the application must include: • A letter of intent • Brief resume of professional work • Visual documentation that shows recent work (for example: 6–10 slides, CDs, DVDs, photographs, video, catalogues)
