David Rosenthal, adjunct instructor of photography in the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), has just opened a new art gallery/community photo studio in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Northside.

He opened Prairie Gallery in January. The gallery will feature its second exhibit titled "Not in My Wedding Album" from March 20-May 8, 2009. The opening reception for this exhibit will be held from 5-9 p.m., Friday, March 20.

"Not in My Wedding Album" features wedding photographs that explore the full range of experiences and emotional extremes found at wedding ceremonies and related rituals.

This show opens the door to this broader range of experience which is largely relegated to the reject pile in the enormous cache of wedding photographs produced year after year, according to Rosenthal.
