Bachelor of Fine Arts — Sculpture
Introductory courses in sculpture promote the acquisition of basic knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes, resulting in finished sculptural pieces. Students in Advanced Sculpture classes will have mastered one or more sculptural media and often focus on technical development within a body of work. Functional knowledge of the history of sculpture with emphasis placed on contemporary issues and sculptors is addressed through research assignments and art history requirements and electives.
The Sculpture facility provides an excellent environment for motivated undergraduate and graduate students exploring contemporary sculptural form. D powder printer, a computer driven router and a laser cutter.
