Middle school is often where a love for art or design first begins. Middle School Day Camp at DAAP is made for rising 6th-8th graders who want to explore their creativity through hands-on projects and art-making. Campers try out different materials and techniques while learning to explore, work together, and grow.
A friendly and supportive Camp CREW leads the way, helping students build confidence in their ideas and their skills. With a focus on teamwork, self-expression, and fun, Middle School Day Camp is the perfect place for young artists to get inspired and start dreaming about their creative future.

What’s the difference between Middle School Day Camp and the High School Day Camps?
Middle School Day Camp is one general art studio experience for rising 6th-8th graders, running 9:30am-4:30pm. High School Day Camps offer six different subject-specific studios for rising 9th-12th graders, running 9:00am-5:00pm. See High School Day Camps for those options.
How much does it cost, and what’s included?
Middle School Day Camp costs $400 per student. This includes all camp supplies. It does not include lunch — students bring their own each day.
When does registration open for next summer?
Registration typically opens in March. Join the Early Notification List to be one of the first to know when it opens.

Architecture C.A.M.P.
C.A.M.P. Cincinnati Architecture Mentoring Program
C.A.M.P. Cincinnati is a week-long opportunity, independent from DAAPcamps, where rising 8th and 9th grade students explore architecture and interior design through drawing exercises and hands-on model building projects.
It is organized and taught by DAAP School of Architecture and Interior Design faculty and students, along with local architects. The program is proud to partner with the Cincinnati chapters of the American Institute of Architects and the National Organization of Minority Architects.
